• Rare benign lesion.

• Histologic patterns:

1. Myxoid or classic type: Boys, first year of life, subcutaneous tissue and submucosa of head and neck.

2. Intermediate, cellular or juvenile type: Adults, head and neck region.

3. Transitional forms.

• Rare manifestation of nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome.
